Designed in 1914, Sadie is a tweaked verion of Herreshoff's Alerion centerboard daysailer. Seven inches longer on the same 21'9" waterline, she is also slightly beamier and deeper.

Traditional buff-colored decks accent her varnished teak coamings and cypress bulkhead. Note the traditional Herreshoff molded sheerstrakes.

Cockpit details. A bronze Herreshoff-style anchor rests in chocks under the aft deck.

The interior provides sitting headroom over a couple of bunk flats, storage space, and a few other simple amenities as befits a "gentleman's daysailer".
