Designed by L. Francis Herreshoff (Design No. 65) in 1935, but not built until 1984-1987 by Brad Story in Essex, MA. (Ticonderoga, ex-Tioga II, was his Design No. 66.) She sails like a dream, especially on a reach. Her original owner planned to sail her to the South Pacific from Massachusetts, but illness forced him to shorten his cruise to the Caribbean instead. Extensive restoration by Hylan & Brown – Boatbuilders in 2014, including new Dynel-covered decks, rebuilt cockpit, lifelines, pulpit, hatches; engine reconditioning 2014; new sails by Pope Sails in 2014.
