Tuva: 1929 32' Power Cruiser

Price: $35,000 (Brooklin, Maine) / 1929 / 32' LOA / 120hp Ford Lehman diesel, low hours

The power cruiser TUVA, built in 1929 by Gray Boats in Thomaston Maine, is now for sale. We've owned her since 1989, and all maintenance and indoor storage has been performed here at our yard. She's been a very enjoyable weekend cruiser for us here on the coast of Maine, and we are confident her next owner will enjoy her just as much.

Down below there's a V-bunk forward and small galley and head. There are long seats on each side of the pilothouse which can be enclosed with canvas weather cloths (included).

A couple of photos of TUVA appear in The Book of Wooden Boats, Volume 3 by Benjamin Mendlowitz. Another photo of her appears on p. 29 of the Jan/Feb 2003 issue of WoodenBoat.

She was last in the water for the summer of 2010, and she's ready for new adventures! She is currently in our indoor storage shed. If interested, please contact us or stop by the yard Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM to inspect (click here for map).
